Toyota Highlander 2011 is not much change

At the Moscow motor show is taking place in Russia, Toyota introduced new version of the 2011 Highlander models with some minor changes and additional hybrid version.


Toyota Highlander 2011 version has the new headlamps, redesigned hood, bonnet, front bumper and grille also brought new nuances. Rear of 2011 Highlander, the new definition is in cluster lights and rear bumpers.

Engine for the Highlander almost the same the current version, only a few small changes. Accordingly, the new Highlander was equipped petrol engine V6 3.5L VVT, for a capacity of 273 horsepower combined 5-speed automatic transmission.

Currently engine on the U.S. version of Highlander - petrol engine 2.7L, four-cylinder, 187 horsepower capacity - will continue to be used for the 2011 version. Add to that a hybrid version combines 3.3L V6 engine with two electric motors.

Toyota has not officially announced prices of Highlander 2011 version, but probably will not be many changes. Price current version in the U.S. is from $ 32,480 for the Highlander SE (3.5L V6 engine and automatic transmission 5-speed).
