Porsche can introduce the Cayman Clubsport

According to some news from American media, German carmakers Porsche will introduce a lighter version of the current Cayman - Cayman Clubsport - at the 2010 LA Motor Show.


Information about the Cayman Clubsport received much positive feedback from the Porsche dealer in Europe and America, according to some American newspapers, this car will be put into production after the first debut at LA Motor Show held in November this year.

The Cayman Clubsport can be introduced as a concept similar Porsche Boxster Spyder, been debuted at the 2009 LA Motor Show. The Spyder is special edition of the Boxster series, along with the Cayman, Porsche will be replaced in 2012.

Although not yet released but the Cayman Clubsport may lighter than standard version is about 80kg, thanks to the efforts "weight loss" in these parts like wheels, doors and interior. The same time the engine was also upgraded to help the Clubsport can accelerate from 0-100 km/h faster than the Cayman S 0.5 seconds.

But Porsche has not officially confirmed for debut the Cayman Clubsport, a Porsche spokesman said it is just rumor, he said: "We do not have any assertion about the birth Cayman Clubsport, but that model has long been mentioned as a project similar to the introduction of the Boxster Spyder."
