GM Group said sales of the Buick Lacrosse model version has reached the 100,000 vehicles in less than a year in the largest automobile market in the world.
According to GM, Buick Lacrosse has the strongest growth in midsize sedan segment, with 3.0-liters SIDI model nearly 80% of this segment in the first 6 months in 2010. This segment in Chinese consists cars priced above 300,000 yuan, equivalent to $ 44,200.
GM also noted that the Lacrosse has received numerous awards in China, such as "Car of 2009 in China."
New Buick Lacrosse available in the market since summer 2009 with 3 versions of petrol direct injection: 2.4-liters four-cylinders capacity of 182 hp, 3.0-liters V6 capacity of 255 hp and 3.6-liters V6 capacity of 280 hp.
