Toyota produced small hybrid car in French

Toyota has officially announced, will produce a small hybrid car in Valenciennes, France in 2012. Toyota said, hybrid vehicles in France will be designed based on the current model or a completely new car.


"We are very proud of this decision, the production of small hybrid cars in France will strengthen Toyota's position on the European market," Makoto Sano, director of TMMF comment. "We also express deep gratitude to the authorities for helping us in the process of building this project."

This announcement marks second model of Toyota is made in Europe. Earlier, Japanese car manufacturer has carried out production the Auris hybrid in the UK since late June.

Although Toyota does not disclose technical details of the small hybrid model will be built in France, but all seem to come up with a hybrid version of the Yaris from the company. Currently, TMMF are going to build the Yaris, and a completely new model launches expected in 2012.

In the previous report said that Toyota also is producing a the Yaris hybrid compete with Honda Fit hybrid in the future.
