Based on the Minagi concept was introduced at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the CX-5 will be the first commercial product of Mazda to incorporate Mazda’s ‘KODO – Soul of Motion’ design theme that premiered on the Mazda SHINARI concept car last year. Moreover, the CX-5 also equipped many breakthroughs technological including SKYACTIV engine, transmissions, bodyshell, design technology and new chassis.
As expected, the pre-production version of the CX-5 will be introduced at the New York Auto Show upcoming. Real production version of the CX-5 will be introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show held in Germany in September, before it is official presence in the market early next year.
