Aston Martin to debut the Virage ahead of Geneva

Aston Martin has created an interesting surprise when launching Virage without notice. The Virage is a 2+2 sport coupe (GT) that will sit between the DB9 and DBS models in the Aston Martin lineup.

In production systems, Aston Martin now has five models are DBS, DB9, Rapide, Vantage V12/V8 and CYGNET, in which DBS is the most advanced models (not including one-77 model with limited production quantity).

Aston Martin Virage is use 6.0L V12 engine. But with 490 horsepower, capacity of Virage higher than DB9 is 20 horsepower and less than DBS is 20 horsepower. Virage has a maximum torque of 570 Nm. Chassis system is made from aluminum, while the cabin frame is made from magnesium and aluminum alloys.

Virage accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 299 km/h.

Some specifications other prominent are Adaptive Damping System (ADS) which 'intelligently reads the road' for optimized handling and Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brakes as standard.

Pricing for the Virage will be announced at its Geneva premiere.
