Honda Jazz hybrid 2011 - Cheapest Hybrid in Japan market

With the price of 1.5 million yen (approximately $ 19,300), Honda Jazz (Fit) hybrid 2011 became the cheapest hybrid the Japanese market.


Mr. Hiroshi Kobayashi, director of domestic sales of Honda  said, Honda has received 10,000 orders for the Jazz after this model unveiled in Paris Motor Show 2010.

Hybrid version of the Jazz was also equipped with gasoline engines - electric such as Insight model. 1.3-liter gasoline engine, design 4-cylinder for 87 horsepower capacity comes with CVT gearbox. Electric motor combination will put in the middle. Like the Insight and Civic Hybrid, Jazz can also run entirely by an electric motor on a short road.


As announced by the manufacturer, the Jazz hybrid fuel consumption of 4.4 l/100km same 104 g/km CO2 emissions.

The greener Jazz will feature revised headlights with a blue surround, new grille, restyled bumpers and a chrome tailgate garnish,  clear rear lights.

While the Honda has no plans to offer the Honda Fit Hybrid in the U.S., the hybrid model will go on sale in Europe in early 2011 as the Honda Jazz Hybrid.
