The Ferrari 458 Challenge is a non-street legal race version of the 458 Italia. However, it has developed based on car chassis of the 458 Italia, Challenge 458 has some upgrades to be able to adapt to the harsh conditions on the racetrack.
Spotlight on the 458 Challenge is a F1 dual-clutch gearbox, an F1-Trac traction control system, a race suspension, an E-Diff electronic differential and high-performance Brembo CCM2 brakes.
Body covered with lightweight materials like carbon fiber and Lexan to reduce weight and make the car accelerate faster. However, the 458 Challenge is still ensure safety for users.
Supercar bring 4.5-liters V8 engine, the maximum capacity of 570 hp (562 hp/419 kW) and maximum torque reaches 540 Nm (£ 398). The car just 1 minute 16.05 seconds to finish a round Fiorano, two seconds faster than the F430 Challenge.
